We breed Australian Mountain Doodles (also called Aussie Mountain Doodle, Australian Bernedoodle, Mountain Doodle, and Swiss Doodle ) because we believe they are the most incredible breed of dog! They are growing rapidly in popularity, and are known and loved for their attentiveness, intelligence, health and longevity, low shedding, playfulness, and, yes, their striking good looks.

Our focus is on breeding specifically for Unfurnished Coat type by breeding pure bred Australian shepherd to an Unfurnished Bernedoodle. All of our parent dogs are health tested and proven to be good family dogs with excellent temperaments before joining our breeding program.

Unfurnished coats give the look of an Australian Shepard yet reduce the shedding by 50%! Bernese lowers the working drive and energy of the Australian Shepherd while still maintaining intelligence and trainability and the Poodle adds a nice touch for hybrid vigor, reduces shedding and increases life span.

We still raise furnished Aussie Mountain Doodles but keep those mainly to the toy or micro mini sizes because the smaller size makes them easier to maintain and more affordable to groom. Furnished and Unfurnished coats are both hypoallergenic and most people with mild to intermediate allergy concerns are able to happily co-exist with our AMD puppies. Specific attention from breeder to select parents with low shedding genetics in order to produce less dander. 

Australian Mountain Doodles have a life expectancy of approximately 15yrs and make wonderful companions, adventure pals, family dogs and can even be trained as emotional support animals, drug dogs, or compete in special events.
